BID Coordinator

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing new job opportunities in the bidding sector, complying with the defined contracting budget. This position involves maintaining a detailed follow-up of all projects at different stages, from the quote to the final delivery of the execution and analysis of results. The ideal candidate must have relationships with all hierarchical levels of the companies, reading architectural plans, as well as electrical and low voltage plans. In addition, you will be responsible for estimating costs, planning the necessary staff and monitoring the execution of the projects. 

Position Type / Expected hours of work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are (at minimum) Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. 

Responsibilities:
• Identifying opportunities: receive and search for new work opportunities in the institutional sector, private companies and US Government institutions. You must be constantly searching and updating all the platforms on which these works are offered.
• Initial projects evaluation: perform and initial screening on the received offers for viability, carrying out an economic and work capacity assessment of the received offers.
• Document analysis: review and analyze the documentation associated with the BIDs, including architectural plans, electrical plans, low voltage plans and required regulations.
• Write estimates, create budget, and coordinate job start and timeline.
• Project management: create and maintain the formats for monitoring and updating the status of each project, where all the projects in feasibility analysis in the quotation process, those approved and those that are in the execution of work are identified.
• Execution coordination: coordinate with the operational staff the detailed planning of the execution of the projects, generating a work schedule by activities and ensuring its compliance by the offer.
• Monitoring and reporting: monitor the execution of the projects, ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards, and report the progress to the company management. 

Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related careers in blueprint reading and construction project management.
• Experience of a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar coordination role, conducting bidding processes for construction projects or electrical and low-voltage systems in the United States, preferably in the state of Georgia.
• The work will be performed in person in Buford Georgia or adjacent states. 

Technical skills:
• Knowledge and experience reading architectural and low-voltage blueprints.
• Experience in bidding approvals.
• Advanced skills in cost estimation and project planning
• Familiarity with project management software and tracking tools
• Advanced skills in effective project executions 

Soft skills:
